Making nuclear waste safe



Despite working for income in the 1980s, I have never a fan of nuclear power.  Which is why we parted company 1986.

2024 and all the nuclear storage facilities around the world are full to overflowing.  A nuclear power has resorted to use a short term storage around disused nuclear reactors.

That faces a only her licensed for short term used fission rods storage.  And the insurance was revoked as the nuclear facility shut down.  There for no nuclear waste can be legally storms around disused nuclear plants.

This is a major legal issue.  The nuclear plants planning consent, is only bride in three years storage space for the used fission rods.  Which there isn't!

Since 1986 and Chernobyl, the required annual insurance cover from a uranium nuclear plant has been 40 billion.  There being no legal insurance available above one billion.

The nuclear plants consent to operate is revoked if they have no legal insurance cover.  Since Fukushima in 2010, and I was in Brazil, there required insurance cover has risen to 100 billion.

So there is a massive industry reprocessing nuclear fusion rods.  And I have already written extensively on this issue.  The physics was published on the Internet thankfully.

If we fire up the hydrogen plasma in a centre half filled with nuclear waste, the hydrogen atoms are broken apart into positive ions and free electrons.

The half life all uranium 236 is 10,000 years!  So in a week we have transformed the hyper toxic uranium 236 into safer compounds.  It emits a beta away - A helium ion.

So we half fill the uranium fission due is with helium gas.  And fire up the plasma user high voltage electronics from old fluorescent light.  I think it should self sustain!  Producing 6 MW of heat.

But crucially we have though this may hyper toxic metal waste of nuclear power.  For which we can charge!  The insurance costs and waste handling are the major expenses of uranium nuclear power.

That amazingly enough on never accounted for by either nuclear power all the nuclear regulator.
