When I was busy doing a PH D work at Sheffield University 2000, a fellow PH D student told me that burning natural gas the wretched X rays. This means we are doing nuclear fusion!

My American friend had fired up a 30x1cm steam plasma, and got out a constant 1 MW of heat. The plasma it would have taken 20 W of external electrical power, to maintain.

We drive the boiler room free steam turbines. And get steam at eight atmospheres 800° C. With feed this mad hot steam turbine and generate at least 500 kW of electrical power.
We use by electronics to convert into mains linked phase and voltage AC power. My calculations indicate we may get over 2.5 MW of electrical power. As or steam plasma at this pressure in turbulent for will produce 5 MW of heat.
Either way plasma kilowatts is E carbon neutral electrical power for 150 houses. We use the exit steam to drive an area central heating system. For saying 150 houses. Who go off grid for far and electricity.
The engineering company breas a massive excess of electrical power. They are going to earn over three million UK pounds a year, from the electrical national grid.
They do not buy any electricity or gas! They have no need to burn or oil or coal either. The plasma burns regular water into massive carbon neutral heat. As my American friends found to his amazement!
Well maybe not amazement - then told him to expect up to 2.4 MW of heat, from the pressurise plasma. He got 1 MW from an atmospheric pressure plasma.
So all companies have electrical with maintenance departments. Who can knock up the plasma power plant in the lunch hour. They will already have emergency electrical generators, to carry them through power outages.
I would recommend against a new turbine over the Internet. And they can then start generating carbon zero electricity, that afternoon!
At night and in the early mornings, they sell all the excess electricity to the national grid. They had escaped to her and so much money! And they do not apply he the mains gas or electricity. They are just getting three million UK pounds a year, for the excess power.
